The paradox of disinfection
During cleaning, dirt (food for organisms) is removed and during disinfection, all benign microorganisms, such as harmful ones, are destroyed.
As a result, harmful microorganisms become increasingly unaffected by disinfectants and the biofilm they produce becomes more resistant, making traditional cleaning products less effective at removing dirt from surfaces.
